Félix works with large private firms, governmental organizations, and small non-profits across Canada, helping them bring their big ideas to fruition. He guides projects by offering expert strategic advice, as well as providing support in public relations, whether with government or between businesses. 

Félix specializes in shepherding economic development projects focused on innovation — expertise he gained in part while working on the development of the Quebec government's ''Innovation zones'' program in the cabinet of the Minister of Economy and Innovation (MEI).

Félix has a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Ottawa and has completed postdoctoral work at The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. He is now an Associate Professor at the Université du Québec à Rimouski. 

He also owns and has invested in several businesses in New-Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario, and thus understands the needs and concerns of business owners.

When he is not busy at work, Félix likes to kick back and enjoy a good book, as well as to spend time with his partner, family and friends. Otherwise, you may catch him indulging in his passion for speed, whether riding on his motorcycle or skiing down the slopes.

Jean-Michel holds a Master's degree in Letters (Ancient Studies - Laval), as well as undergraduate degrees in English (Calgary), Persian (Tehran) and Arabic (Concordia), the visible markers of an obsession; a desire and a wager all at once, to get to the bottom of things through an ever more generous height of vision.  

He also draws on his long experience in research and writing to offer fresh, penetrating analyses of the salient issues facing professionals involved in stimulating innovation throughout Quebec. As Senior Director, Communities and Research, Jean-Michel is committed to creating strategic intelligence tools that will best serve InnovEco's clientele, and in particular the members of Forum Innovation.

An enthusiast of rare books and all the more rarefied ideas, cheerfully grumpy and gently non-conformist, Jean-Michel lives in Quebec City with the love of his life, his three children and his two old cats.

Jean Bérubé is a scientist and entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in technology and business development. 

He began his career working in industrial and university laboratories in the fields of geology, civil and geotechnical engineering, and environmental testing. His time at a forestry research center allowed him to develop recognized expertise in industrial vision systems and to build an extensive international network within the industry.

In 2004, he co-founded VAB Solutions, a company specializing in vision scanners and metrology instruments for the forestry sector. After selling the company in 2020, he took over and rebranded another business as SmartMill, continuing to develop advanced technologies for the industry while initiating a diversification toward new markets.

His partnership with InnovEco led to the creation of engineered products for biofuels, while SmartMill is now contributing to the development of a bamboo-based desalination technology for Neowall, a finalist in the XPRIZEcompetition.

Guided by strong human values, Jean Bérubé strives to improve working conditions and business profitability while supporting the growth of local communities. He is also actively involved in non-profit organizations, notably in supporting his local community college foundation’s fundraising initiatives.

Jean-Sébastien has over 15 years of experience in politics, local development, and strategic writing, including several years as a mayor, development officer, and political advisor. 

His career has led him to work on projects as diverse as biochar, shipbuilding, municipal services, residential development, heritage, and permaculture. 

Versatile and detail-oriented, Jean-Sébastien focuses on gathering and structuring comparable data, drafting relevant recommendations, and proposing practical solutions tailored to each partner’s reality. 

His areas of expertise include territorial diagnostics and data analysis, public policy, municipal affairs and local development, strategic writing, and operational recommendations.

Alexandre can boast of nearly ten years of experience as a communications and marketing expert.

After studying radio broadcasting and communications, he worked as a journalist and radio host for many media organizations in Quebec and Ontario.

As Communications advisor, he offers a fresh perspective on the company's marketing, content development and management of social media platforms.

Alexandre is a creative person with a fascination for the power of words, and a great appreciation for the beauty of the French language. He is also an  avid composer.

Yves is an associate expert at InnovEco. During his career, Mr. Legault has negotiated several agreements in a multilateral diplomatic framework between international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), the United Nations (UN), and the Government of Canada. 

Mr. Legault holds a bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies and Philosophy from the University of Montreal and a diploma in International Business from HEC Montreal. 

Yves is a member of the Order of Chartered Administrators and the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers. 

He is also an associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment in the United Kingdom. In 2021, Mr. Legault was appointed Honorary Consul of Benin for the Toronto region in Canada and alternate representative to the ICAO.
